DAY 1 (
SATURDAY ) |
Arrive at Adnan Menderes Airport in Izmir
, meet with your tour director and transfer to Selcuk ( 1,5 hrs driving )
Remainder of the day at leisure ( an optional tour to the Cave of Seven Sleepers,
tombs and a church related to the legend of Seven Sleepers including the tomb of Maria
Magdelena )

DAY 2 ( SUNDAY ) |
We begin by visiting the world famous
ancient Roman site Ephesus, one of the grandest restorated ancient sites
in the world, with its huge theatre, The Odeon, the library and the Roman baths. No trip
to Western Turkey is complete without a visit to Ephesus, arguably the most impressive
Greco-Roman site in the world. After lunch we visit the Ephesus Museum,
which is housing the remarkable finds from Ephesus. Then, we visit the House of
Virgin Mary, place of pilgrimage for Christians where Holy Mary was brought and
spent her last years. We’ll return to our
hotel late this afternoon

DAY 3 ( MONDAY ) |
We start our day by driving to Sirince,
where is a historical village with its untouched houses. Next point is Pamucak
Beach, which the clear waters of the Aegean Sea and the beatiful coastline. After
lunch we'll visit Kusadasi where is famous port town on Turkish Riviera, for an evening at leisure.

DAY 4 (
TUESDAY ) |
After breakfast we'll visit the Cakiraga
House in Birgi , a superb specimen of the traditional Ottoman
seigneurial house. Then we’ll stop in a local village for lunch and to visit to Tire.
Every Tuesday is the market day in Tire. This is a colourful and lively event which covers
a large segment of this historic town. Sellers are mostly women from neighbouring villages
who offer their own garden products

DAY 5 (
WEDNESDAY) |
The day has come for you to visit the Lake Bafa and Kapikiri
Village. An enchanting spot on the roadless north shore of Lake Bafa, where the
old village Kapikiri mingles with the ruins of ancient Heraclia. It was here that Selene,
the moon goddess, fell in love with Endymion the shepherd as he lay asleep by the shore.
She begged Zeus to grant the youth eternal sleep, and she bore 50 children from their
nightly encounters. After lunch at village , We'll visit Stratonikea. The
ruins of ancient Stratonicea are strewn among crumbling manorial houses and deserted
cottages in the former village of Eskihisar, which was evacuated some 30 years ago to make
room for coal mines. We continue to Milas and visit Pecin Castle, which
contains many medieval remnants- a mosque, a caravanserai, a medrese and a Byzantine
church - stand outside the fortress. We'll return our hotel late this afternoon.

DAY 6 (
THURSDAY ) |
After an early breakfast, we start our day by
driving to deserted village Doganbey. Then we'll visit Priene,
an elegant ancient city on a hillside overlooking the Aegean Sea. After lunch , we continue to Miletus, one of the oldest and most important settlements
in Ionia. Then we'll visit Didyma and see the huge temple of Apollo.
