walking from Goreme bus station.
Transportation:
Goreme village is easily accessible by road from all
directions, especially through Nevsehir. The Ankara – Adana highway approaches from the
northwest, the Aksaray – Nevsehir from the southwest, and the Kayseri – Goreme highway
from the northeast.
By Bus: You can easly find direct busses from every city to
Goreme. We are just 100 mt. west of Goreme bus station.
By Air:
You can find flights from Istanbul to Kayseri about 100km away
from Goreme then get service bus to Goreme or use our private pick up service to

Saksagan is an old house built into fairy chimneys, which has
been restored in 1998. The hotel offers you the warmness of
your own home in Goreme, with rooms that presents you history,
nature and culture together.
Saksagan Hotel provides a super view overlooking Goreme.
Rooms are located within fairy-chimneys and carved into rocks.
All rooms are clean and spacious, and decorated in the Ottoman
Style.

Fairy Chimney Rooms
The fairy chimney rooms of Cave
Hotel Saksagan are located in a real fairy chimney. These
rooms are carved in to rock hundreds of years ago and
restored when the house was being converted to hotel.
Cave rooms (fairy chimney rooms) keep the temprature
constant around 18 centigrade degrees during the year. So
these rooms are cooler in summer and warmer in winter.
That's why we name them "rooms with natural air
condition".
As of our all other rooms, fairy chimney rooms have central
heating, private shower and bathroom with 24 hours hot water,
digital satellite TV and telephone.
These rooms also have fireplace and working desk.
The view of fairy chimney rooms is also fascinating. You
will either have the town view from balcony or the garden
view of the hotel. Breakfast and drinks are also

Since the
Roman Empire, arch is one of the most used element of
architecture on asia-minor, which is known as Anatolia today.
Using an arch, a curved structural member spanning an
opening or recess, creates a bigger volume for the space and
helps the air circulation. In Cappadocia region, which is
located in the middle of Anatolia, people have been living
in arch rooms for thousands of years. When they didn't have
suitable rocks to carve cave rooms, they constructed arch
rooms which are even safer against nature's power.
The arch rooms of Cave Hotel Saksagan have either double or
single comfortable beds, central heating, private shower and
bathroom with 24 hours hot water, working desk, digital
satellite TV and telephone. Arch rooms are located next to
our flower garden. You can have your breakfast either in the
garden or on the terrace with the view of Goreme and fairy
